Railway Scramble

Join us Saturday, 12 September, for a fun-filled scramble to the West Coast town of Darling, where we’ll ride one of the most entertaining two-tracks around.

Starting near Chatsworth, we follow a route that runs alongside and criss-crosses the railway line. This section is always a blast, with terrain that changes depending on recent weather. Expect flowing two-track, the odd sandy patch, and some playful water crossings to keep things interesting.

Once in Darling, we’ll stop at Darling Brew for a well-earned lunch before continuing along scenic gravel roads toward the R27. From there, we cruise back to Cape Town along the West Coast to round off the day.

At 175 km, this is a shorter ride packed with character, perfect for beginner riders looking to sharpen their gravel skills in a controlled, fun group setting.
